I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Burns & McDonnell (Kansas City, MO) in Sept 2012
Interview
Applied online and received an email detailing the interview. Had to give a presentation on myself and my interest in work with Burns. The interview was not structured and I was not really asked good questions.
1st interview was an online interview with predetermined questions. Questions were very simple and straightforward but included an arbitrary question about diversity and inclusion. 30-word minimum, filler, filler, and more filler.

Interview
I interviewed for a civil engineer position in the solid waste department. The interview was fairly casual and was mostly just talking about my experience. I actually had solid waste experience which is often hard to find so it was clear that they really wanted me. I asked about the company culture, which is something that is important to me, and their response was that they pay very well. That was a red flag for me. I accepted somewhere else and withdrew before getting an offer.

First-round was a pre-recorded interview with questions given and then you have to record your response. There were 12 questions. You have a chance to read the question and then get two chances to record your answer.
