Interview
To be a medical transcriptionist, one must be strong in English grammar. The company will give training in learning medical language. To get selected, the company will conduct an English test consisting of English grammar, comprehension. One need not be good in spoken English but one must be able to understand English dictation by the doctors. There will also be a test in which the candidate is asked to transcribe some old files to evaluate the ability of the candidate to refer medical and drug dictionaries to find words. The interview will consist some general questions to find out whether the candidate is genuinely interested in working in this field.

Question 1
The question may be about English grammar, medical dictionary, or drug dictionary. In grammar, one need not know about phrase and clauses but must be able to convert one type of sentences to another type, like simple to compound to complex sentences. In medical terms, the difference between such simple terms like hypo and hyper is important. In drug terms, the difference between generic and brand names of drugs, drug dosages, etc.
