The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CareerBuilder (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2008
Interview
Consisted of 2 in person interviews. First interview with the team lead, second with the sales manager. They have you answer 3 short essay questions. Mainly to make sure you can put sentences together. You also have to do some mock phone calls. They provide you a script to follow.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CareerBuilder in Nov 2011
Interview
The first step is a phone interview, it was relatively easy, you just have to sound competent and outline your experiences working in an office and with any sort of sales or cold calling. The next step is an in person interview, in my case it was with two of the hiring managers. While the environment seems really fun, I was intimidated by the managers and as it was my first "real" interview out of college I am sure it showed. Overall, it was not a bad interview process but I was definitely thrown off guard by a few of their questions, do in part to poor preparation on my side. If you make it past the phone interview they provide you with a list of possible interview questions, and of course the question I had the weakest answer to was one of the ones asked.

Interview
We went into background of what would make a good sales person. How you fit in with team dynamics and if you are a team player or work better alone. Lots of describe yourself type questions.
