The process itself was relatively standard. First, I had a screener with an internal recruiter to go over my resume and discuss the basics of the role. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager for about 45 minutes to dive a bit deeper into my experience.
After that, I was sent a take-home assessment. This was essentially a mock RFP - a series of questions that I was to answer using the information I could find on their website and other publicly available spaces, with the stipulation that I was not to use AI to formulate responses (I wouldn't have done so anyway, so that didn't bother me). I was given two days to complete the assessment, and once I turned it in, I was sent a link to provide availability for the final round interview, which I believe involved speaking with a team member already in the role.
However, the hiring team ignored my availability. Once the window provided had passed, I reached out to see if I needed to offer more availability, and received no response.
Over a week later, I received an email telling me that, despite this request from them to set up a final interview, they had chosen not to move forward. They offered to speak with me about their decision and asked for availability to set up the call, but then failed to call at that time and failed to respond.
