I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Centerra Ranch Montessori School (Katy, TX) in Jul 2015
Interview
I was offered this position by the director, who had found my resume online. I was asked to come in to the school at a specific day/time to fill out a formal application and meet with an interviewer. When I arrived, nobody knew who I was or what I was doing there. There was nobody to meet me or interview me. One of the other teachers found a paper application for me to fill out.
There was a rather lengthy e-mail exchange between the director and myself, in which I initially declined the offer due to scheduling conflicts. She kept insisting and suggesting different hours that would fit my schedule. I declined again, and she kept persisting. When I asked how many days a week the position would require, she replied that they would only hire an individual with dedication, commitment, and consistency. I declined a third time, and she thanked me for not wasting any more of her time.
I did not ask for this job. It was offered to me. When I declined, the director behaved rudely.
