Founded in 2002 by Sarah Steel, The Old Station Nursery began with a simple vision: to create a place where children feel nurtured, families feel supported, and communities feel connected. What started as a single nursery in an old railway station has grown into a community of 78 nurseries across the UK. While each nursery has its own unique character and local roots, all are united by a shared purpose: to help children, families and colleagues thrive. Today, we continue to build on the values that shaped our first nursery — providing exceptional care, inspiring learning experiences and meaningful partnerships with families. Through regular communication, trusted relationships and a genuine commitment to every child's journey, we create environments where children feel safe, confident and excited to explore the world around them.
