I first applied online. After that HR sent a video interview to complete. Then I interviewed with a member of the department for the position. I never heard back from them after that.

What are some of the biggest obstacles to collaboration that you've faced and how did you overcome them?
The first round of interviews is recorded virtually through Hire Vue. You are given the opportunity to practice and get to know the interview program before the official interview begins. About four questions are asked.

Describe a time you worked under pressure. Why are you interested in the art market?
The interviewers were so unprofessional. They showed up 45 minutes late to the interview and then scrolled through instagram instead of listening to my answers. They spoke negatively about colleagues at Sotheby's and other people in the industry I had worked with previously, and then spoke negatively about me when I was still in earshot.
We would like to take this opportunity to apologise to you for this negative experience, we would not expect this for any candidate interviewing with us.
