Interview
I had absolutely no patient care experience or training, only a bachelors degree in public health/pre-med. I got a phone interview with questions dealing with my strengths and exceeding expectations in my previous volunteer and work experiences. I got invited to a face to face interview the following week. I had an easy in person interview with about 7 questions, lasting for 30 mins, then shadowed a PCNA for an hour.

Interview
I applied on Workday, received call from recruiter asking to interview, had an interview with recruiter, and they scheduled for me to interview with the floor manager on the desired floor I picked.
Easy. Ask you why you want to be in patient care. They prefer STNA. If you don’t they will train you as a PCNA but it’s a much easier process if you already have STNA.
