Clumio Software Engineer interview questions

The interview process consists of a coding round followed by system design and behavioral rounds. When I asked the recruiter I was told the coding round would be a fizzbuzz round. I was sent a link to a hackerrank test. Halfway through the round I realized they are also testing for efficiency of algorithmic and mem usage as some test cases were timing out. This was a hackerrank test, there was no human I could clarify with before starting with the solution. Just like how the recruiter didn't bother to clarify what would be tested in the coding round, I also didn't bother with improving my solution and so I got rejected.
