I was brought in and interviewed by two supervisors at the same time. We met in a conference room where I was asked a series of questions. One question asked was have I ever missed a deadline?

HR does the initial review of candidates. They are very out of touch of what all of the roles are therefore candidates that might be a great fit are tossed out. Leaders should be initially interviewing candidates NOT HR. Lots of talent is missed because of this process.
