I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Custom Ink (Fairfax, VA) in Sept 2015
Interview
As other reviewers have noted, CustomInk moves very fast, then nothing at all. Process included a phone screen with the hiring manager, then another phone screen with HR. After that scheduled an in person interview with four people, 1 hour each. After that they would "be in touch", it took a full 30 days to hear back.

Question 1
They attempted to do technical questions, but vague technical questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Custom Ink in Sept 2018
Interview
The HR Manager was completely professional, available, respectful and provided comprehensive feedback. One of the best I’ve worked with. The company prides itself on its culture and HR made a big point to stress how they want engaged people who love to work there. That’s fantastic! Too bad the SVP of Marketing isn’t at all like this. He grunted a hello in the meeting, not making eye contact. He then didn’t look up from his notebook during the interview other than to wave to someone through the glass behind me in the hallway. He was disconnected, disinterested and rude. For a place that has won so many awards for quality of workplace it is amazing this guy is there. I couldn’t reconcile the difference between HR and him and lost interest in this company before the interview was over.

Interview
After applying online I was contacted to set up a phone screen with HR, followed by a phone screen with the hiring manager. The questions were all surrounding my interest in the position, company and my relevant experience. After the phone screens I was asked to come in for a half day in-person interview which included four one-hour interviews with various members of the team, along with an office tour and discussion with HR about the company culture, perks, etc. The interviews were all in-depth discussions about my previous experience and how it related to what they were looking for in their ideal candidate. After that I was tasked with an exercise that was to be completed within one hour at home that was mainly testing my experience with Excel and analyzing Marketing data. The last step was another in-person interview which lasted about two hours. I was offered the position the next day. The whole process lasted about three weeks, but I was provided frequent updates from the recruiter on the timeline and next steps. The process is very thorough and I felt like everyone I met with was genuinely wanting to make sure I was a good fit for the position and company. Overall it was a great experience and helped solidify my decision to accept the offer!
