I had three phone interviews and two in-person interviews with eight different people which lasted across two months. For each interview the team seemed excited and impressed with my skill set, experience, and portfolio. After my two in-person interviews, I was told that I had done "very good :)" and that I was a "great candidate," and the team showed interest in having me in as soon as possible (Keep us up to date with any other interviews, companies interested in you, etc). Then, after all this buttering-up, I got a call informing me that they had changed the job description to require 3-6 years professional experience (rather than 0-2) and that they were no longer considering me for the position. On the other hand, they owned up to wasting my time and apologized.
