I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Cypress Semiconductor (Bengaluru) in Mar 2016
Interview
There was an online test consisting of aptitude and technical mcqs of average level after which there was one F2f interview for shortlisted students on the same day.
The shortlisted students were called for F2f interviews at their office. 4-5 rounds were conducted on the same day(technical, managerial). The director round was supposed to be conducted on the same day but didn't not happen as the manager was busy.
We had to come to the office two days later for the director round, in pre-talk he had mentioned that he doesn't care about our previous company and the package and other stuff, but he asked questions regarding those during the interview, was hoping that the results would be announced on that day, but they said they need a weeks time to announce the results.
They did not get back to us even after weeks, they kept delaying it, the placement cordinator also mailed them and despite that no response on the results, and finally the director mailed and told that we will inform if we get a match between our resources and your profile, we don't recruit for the sake of it like the other companies do. This took more than 3 months after the process of the interview.
Response was given only because of the mails sent to them, otherwise do not expect any response from their side.
Overall the people who were handling the allotment of the interview pannel were good, but the way they took time to announce results (only upon being asked) is not acceptable , hope they improve on that and look from an job applicants point of view and recruit only when they need people who match their requirements and not conduct interviews and recuirt no one.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cypress Semiconductor (Lexington-Fayette, KY) in Nov 2019
Interview
3 hour process, mainly technical questions, but they wanted to get a feel for where I would fit in at the company. Questions were not particularly hard with respect to their topics, but there were some questions I was not prepared to answer.

Interview
I applied through employee Referral. I was doing internship at Intel Corporation back then. There was a telephonic round followed by 3 face to face rounds 2 weeks later. Mainly focussed on bits and memory handling in a code. They focussed on optimizing every code. Telephonic round was to check basic knowledge of C/C++ and the project done in internship. 1st f2f round was to check basic coding skills. 2nd f2f round was a wolfpack round. There were two interviewers asking questions one by one. They were very supportive and knew how to make the candidate write the perfect code. They were giving enough of hints. 3rd f2f round was taken by Director of Software dept. Asked college project related questions and discussed about company.
