To clarify, we do have an HR department in place. However, our consultants are actively involved in the interview process because they have firsthand experience in the roles that our candidates are being recruited for. They offer valuable insights into what it takes to succeed as a consultant in our business. HR steps in at the latter stages of the interview process to ensure a comprehensive assessment from both a technical and cultural fit perspective.
As for our graduate recruitment process, it is standard across many businesses to include tasks and various questions. These are designed to assess essential skills such as research, critical thinking, and communication, which are crucial in the consulting field. The exercises are not meant to be misleading but are intended to simulate real-world challenges that consultants face, such as market sizing and case analysis.
