Interview
My application was rejected via a generic email. This would be ofcourse be completely ok and I wouldn't write this review, hadn't the rejection email read so: "We interviewed a lot of highly qualified candidates for this role, and while we were very impressed with your experience and qualifications, we have decided to move forward with another candidate. We understand this is not the reply you were hoping for. It was not an easy decision to make. Our team really enjoyed getting to know you. We really appreciated your [say something personal about the candidate, what did you like about them. Why did we interview them? Do we want to consider them for future roles?]" Firstly, we didn't get to the interview, so we didn't meet. But ok, they sent out the wrong stage rejection template. But, that they leave the [insert data] brackets is an utter joke and amateurism. Their hirinig criteria obviously isn't high, at least for the Talent team. This may cost the company high caliber experts, since if the Talent team cannot send out a proper rejection email, they are surely not able nor competent to evaluate knowledge and experience of job applicants for positions requiring expert knowledge.
Thank you for your feedback, we've shared with the Talent Acquisition leadership team to help improve this part of our process. Its our aim to provide a better experience throughout the hiring process.
