I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Washington, DC) in Apr 2022
Interview
I applied online, I got connected with the recruiter next day. We talked about compensation and with my experience he said we can meet my salary expectation. I was assigned a take home analysis. one week time was given to complete it. The end of the week, I was scheduled three 30 minutes interview. First was behavior interview. (The guy didn't show up) I had to call the recruiter and the person showed up 5 minutes before the 30 minute. He looked like he didn't want to be there. First question he asked tell me about yourself and after that he said your English is good, how did you have this good English. Before the 5 minutes was up, he asked me to talk to the recruiter and reschedule it. The second Interview was right after the first guy. The lady came. She was in a manger level and was really good. We talked about the org and she also asked behavior question. It was mostly conversation questions. It was really nice talking with her. After she left, it was a third guy. The third person never showed up. I think he was a Data science manager. Again I sent an email to the recruiter because recruiter was not answering my call. The recruiter asked me for my availability with the first guy, because I took a day off from my work, I asked to reschedule the same day. I had a longer interview with the first guy mostly behavioral, this person was really biased on questions and comments he made. For the third person, there was another interview scheduled for another day. It was not the Data Science manager but the project manager. He asked me general question about handling projects and client. He was a really nice person. Next day the recruiter called and gave me an offer, It was 20k less than my expectation, so I declined.

Interview
They have an interface where you see all of your applications and their status. Most applications are viewed by the hiring manager within a few days. First it was an HR interview, then a technical challenge, then interview with the hiring manager and the last step would be with the boss of the manager.
HR rep asked me if I would be ok with a lower salary than the one I get now, and when I said no they asked if money was my motivation which I honestly found quite impolite.
Hiring manager interview was ok, however I was shortly rejected from the position because I didn't have a technical skill which I never stated I had in my CV. They could have very easily read my CV more carefully and rejected me directly, instead of putting me in two rounds of interviews and making me spend time on the technical challenge.

Question 1
Questions on my motivation, expertise and why I am looking to change.

Question 1
Me mostraron varios gráficos y dashboards con datos de negocio y me pidieron interpretar tendencias, detectar anomalías y explicar qué conclusiones tomaría a partir de los datos. También preguntaron cómo comunicaría esos resultados a clientes no técnicos.
