      Java Backend Developer Interview

      20 Mar 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Berlin
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dojo Madness (Berlin) in Jan 2018

      Interview

The whole process was disappointing , long communication delays. I have been given a task to do at home . The task was about to design REST api client(to consume an api, use database to store the data) and also provide endpoints for that client and all that should be done in 1 hr which was not possible given the scope of the task. After I have submitted the task , I wasn't given any feedback for weeks until I emailed myself and asked for it. I got the reply that the position is no longer available and they are sorry that they couldn't inform earlier because of some problem with the HR software etc.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Practical task to design REST API client in one hour.
