      Full Stack Web Developer Interview

      5 Feb 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Draper

      Interview

Process takes 3-4 weeks overall. Starts with a phone screening from a team lead; standard behavioral questions and small inquiries in technical experience. Afterwards, for the technical part they have you do a full-stack project based on a scenario they create. The directions are really confusing, wordy, and could have been written much better; you are expected to only spend 2-3 hours on this but it will definitely require more time. You then present your application to the team lead and other developers for approximately an hour. I was ghosted after the technical presentation, with no explanation as to why. I understand this is normal/common for a phone screening but having been in contact and interviewing for several weeks I thought this was extremely unprofessional. If you move to the final round, you are required to fly to Cambridge for a final in-person.

Build an entire full-stack application based on two pages of poorly written directions.
