Thank you for your feedback about your interview experience when applying for a job at Elexon in 2018.
I’m concerned that the process, for you, took an extended amount of time and seems to have resulted in you not being informed of the outcome.
It is certainly not our intention to let prospective candidates down as we are very keen to recruit and retain staff either through the graduate programme or through the standard recruitment process.
There are two actions that I will take away from your feedback:
• discuss with our external recruitment partners to ensure that they keep candidates informed on the status of their application, especially when unexpected delays may occur or where candidates are unsuccessful
• ensure we have a clear timetable which we can communicate to candidates so that they know when each step will occur and when they can expect a decision
I hope that we can prevent any similar experiences occurring for future candidates and thank you for taking the time to raise this with us, so that we can address it.
