The process started really well, with a interview with the hiring manager. I progressed onto the second round and met with the owner and development team lead. That meeting appeared to go well, then I basically got ghosted for a week and a half then got told they are going in another direction.

My experience in design and how I approach designing for a specific niche.
Initial interviews went well, then I was asked to complete an audit project on an active ad account to 'showcase my skills'. After putting several hours and extensive effort into the project, I was promptly rejected. Getting applicants to do consultative work for free isn't right.
