Questions were easy, checking basic engineering concepts and project management. Asked about powder metallurgy and salary expectations. Team was friendly and welcoming. Took 30 minutes. Questions about 3D drafting and manufacturing operations.

I had 3 phone interviews then was flown to Tennessee for an in person interview. The three phone interviews were with the recruiter, hiring manager, and an employee who would eventually become a coworker. They were all great. Then, the in-person interview consisted of 3 different interviews with various people and a plant tour. I've never been in such an uncomfortable situation before. Some examples of questions I was asked: "Currently only 2% of our engineers are female and a lot of people are old school. How would you react if your opinion wasn't respected?" "Does you moving to Tennessee have something to do with the ring on your finger?" "Do you have anything to rush home to at the end of the day?" Some of the interviewers referred to themselves as "white-beards" and applauded themselves for trying to create a more diverse and inclusive work environment in recent years, then continued to ask questions such as the ones as above. I spoke with the recruiter afterwards who was very apologetic and embarrassed. He was great to work with but I would probably rather work a minimum wage job with people who respect me than step foot in that factory again.
