I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Emerson (Tinley Park, IL) in Mar 2012
Interview
Interview took from 9am-2pm. Scheduled to meet with about 5 people. The tour included, "here is the printer, so we can print things." I was often left sitting in a room waiting for the next interviewer. Very rude.
No challenging questions were asked, more so only discussing of my resume.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Emerson
Interview
Quite relaxed, very straight forward questions, got a small tour of the site. Got a review of the role and how much travel it entails. Overall, an easy interview. No major curveballs, just think through the answers and ensure that you are confident.
I applied online. I interviewed at Emerson in Mar 2022
Interview
First interview was with HR and they asked me basic questions and the second interview was with hiring manager and it was more of a fun, engaging conversation than a intimidating interview. Best interview experience I have ever had so far.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Emerson (Riverside, CA) in Mar 2022
Interview
I did one interview with the hiring manager. It lasted about 30 minutes and it was surprisingly a fun interview. He asked me about two questions which were basic STAR questions. For the most part, it didn't feel like an interview but more of a genuine conversation.
