Entegris interview questions

Was contacted for a phone screen 1 week after the application was submitted and was only provided less than 24 hours to schedule (for the next day at 3pm). Almost 3 weeks later I find I made it to the next round to speak with the reporting manager and was scheduled for the same week. Was told several times I was overqualified but that they wanted someone that could grow within the company. I was told that I will be coming on site to interview with 8 people from different groups 2 people at a time and was scheduledfor the next week. They focused on how I didn't have prior experience in semi conductors despite being a niche field and didn't seem to accept that I have been applying to this location for years and that this was the first time I made it to the interview.
