Thorough and candid, excellent process with talented team. I spoke with individuals from each department and had enough time to get to know the team. They clearly value culture and took the process seriously to make sue there was a good bilaterally.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Epicom (Austin, TX) in Mar 2017
Interview
1. Phone interview with contract employee asking basic questions.
2. Video interview with AC, asking basic questions
3. Would have been online personality profile (I hold no weight in these and generally distrust any company that finds them useful)
4. Absolutely zero follow up from AC or the company after repeated calls/emails to determine next steps. Small company that looks to remain small.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epicom (Austin, TX) in Dec 2014
Interview
I went through three interviews which were about two hours each. I also answered a list of 5 or so questions about why I wanted the job and why I thought I was a good fit. For interviews in general, I've noticed that the number of interviews and the length really depends on which department you are applying for. My first interview was with the person who would be my supervisor. The second interview was a "cultural fit" interview with two other employees at the company, followed by an hour with the owner of the company. My last interview was lunch at a nearby restaurant, which was rather enjoyable. All the interviews were challenging but that was exactly what I was looking for in an employer. It was obvious that the company would care about my continuing education, personal and career growth, and happiness.
