I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Esri
Interview
Each interview was long that lasted about an hour including the initial phone screen. The process was: a phone screen with a recruiter, and a hiring manger, a video chat with a core team member, and a full day 8 hr onsite interview talking to 12-15 ppl. The total hours spent just for the interview itself were around 13 hrs... I've never had interviews with other tech companies that long even for the well known ones. I don't think they need this many steps to know if the person is the right fit.

Question 1
A lot of technical questions on the design decisions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Esri (New Delhi) in Jan 2024
Interview
My interview process at ESRI was quite engaging and positive. Initially, there was an online interview, which was followed by a face-to-face interview at The Leela Palace in Chankyapuri. During the interview, I was challenged to think critically which I found enjoyable as it allowed me to showcase my skills and knowledge. I had the opportunity to meet the team and several leadership members from other countries, which gave me a good insight into the company's culture and global reach. Despite being in NCR for the interview, ESRI provided me with a cab reimbursement, which I believe reflects their culture of putting people first. Overall, the interview process at ESRI was well-structured, and I had a positive experience interacting with the team and leadership members.

Question 1
Ideate a logo for a hotel company which wants to show 4 different values(Attract foreign tourists, Indian roots/origin, Safety and comfort)
I applied online and it took about two months to hear back from Esri. The process was an HR phone screen, phone call with the hiring manager, and then a panel interview with the team. The final round interview was a choice between showcasing a selected project, or completing a design challenge. The design challenge was designing an app for measuring distances and areas on a map.
