Interview
For a small company the interview process was quite good. Ben reached out to me on LinkedIn. We had a chat and decided to move forward. At that stage, I had the coding portions of the interview process. Afterwards, they were willing to move forward again and invited me to the offices to meet the team which was a nice touch.
At no point during the interviewing process did I feel under too much pressure or that it was being rushed and it was very personalised which is something you don't get with most other companies.

Question 1
There were two coding related portions to the interview process. One was a take home task and the other was over zoom.
Intro call with a senior engineer, then a pair programming exercise with another engineer. The task was easy (no leetcode questions), but they will fail you for trivial mistakes. I didn't proceed past this stage, but next steps would involve a system design round and a final conversation with the CEO.
Despite their pretty strong hiring activity, they only have 1 year of runway left, so if you're looking for stability, this isn't the place for that.

Question 1
You are given a log file and 5 different tasks, all asking to read and manipulate the log data in slightly different ways. You can use Google, but will be penalised for doing so, especially if you forget the syntax or an argument a stdlib function takes.

Interview
Interview process started with a take-home task. Then there was 3 technical interviews (2 online, 1 in-person). The technical interviews were straight forward and I got to learn more about the company from the Engineers. Brilliant company, working on exciting products but the compensation is far below industry average which might be acceptable if the equity offered was better considering the risk taking.
