Applied online and got a response from HR the next day. Within a week the HR screening interview took place (Skype). Pretty typical questions also included a very quick and easy skills test (CTR calculation).
Following the HR interview, the 2nd round was with the London team, again over Skype. This was focused more on my current role/responsibilities etc. Spoke to the potential manager I would be reporting to along with another team member. Nothing super exciting to report about this process. Also got the "If you had unlimited time and resources what would you do" question which is always a turn off. I mean do recruiters still ask these kind of questions?
Following that, a 3rd round took place with the team based in Boston. It was brutal and lasted about 2.5 hours talking to 3 separate team members separately. Focused mainly on IQ/Intelligence questions which were fun. Got the "If you had unlimited time and resources what would you do" question again!
However when I asked why I should choose Fiksu to work the answer was disappointing. Instead of selling the benefits for my career and development, the answer was a "we are dominating the world, we are the best" response. Not so cool.
Had to follow up twice to get an answer about the status of my application which in the end was a rejection.
Interesting experience!
