Interview
I had a series of interviews aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of the company's culture and assessing my fit as an employee. The process began with two separate interviews with the CEO. These discussions were highly insightful, offering a comprehensive view of the company's vision, core values, and strategic goals. The CEO's perspective was invaluable in providing an overarching understanding of the organizational culture and the kind of people who thrive there.
Following these initial conversations, I had a third interview with the Vice President of Sales. This interview was equally important, focusing more on the day-to-day dynamics within the sales team and the specific attributes that contribute to success in that department. The VP of Sales shared detailed insights into team expectations, the sales process, and how collaboration and communication are fostered within the team.
All three interviews were conducted in a conversational style, which created a comfortable and open environment for discussion. This approach allowed for a more genuine exchange of ideas and provided a clearer picture of what it would be like to work at the company.

Question 1
How my past experience can be applied to the current role?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fluent.ai (Montreal, QC) in Feb 2018
Interview
Was contacted by an external recruiter who seemed to have difficulty saying object-oriented programming and could give little to no information on the position in addition to what was written on the posting. I was then prompted to do a one-way video interview. The interview software is flash and won't play nice with a linux box, it failed to upload a couple of my attempts at answering (there are a limited number of attempts). One-way interviews are, well, one-way. So I never new anything more about the job than what the original posting said. In the end, at least I was contacted to say that they had chosen someone else.
