      Application

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ford Foundation (New York, NY) in May 2010

      Interview

The first round was a basic 1:1 interview followed by a skills test on a computer testing basic Microsoft software. The second round was with individuals from the specific department you applied to.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Describe a situation where you were presented a challenge and how did you face it.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Ford Foundation in Apr 2025

      Interview

I had one interview with the department I was applying for. Overall it was an ok interview, but I couldn't shake the feeling that one of the interviewers didn't want to be there. They showed up ten minutes late, which was fine, we are all human. But throughout the rest of the interview it felt like they didn't want to be there or didn't care about the things I was saying. They were on their phone for a portion of the interview and spent most of the time staring at the wall. The other person was fine, they seemed interested, but it was definitely one of the weirdest interviews I have ever had. The whole thing made me wonder if I ever actually had a shot at the position or if they were being forced to meet with me.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about yourself. Why the Ford Foundation. Why this department?
