      Massage Therapist Interview

      27 Jul 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Four Seasons in Jul 2012

      Interview

I saw the add on Craigslist a few weeks before I graduated from school and it said 'must have two years experience', I decided to apply anyway because even though I'm a recent grad in massage I have worked in the hospitality industry before. I emailed my resume on a Friday and was called on Tuesday. I had my first interview on that Thursday. I met with HR and filled out an application. After an initial interview with HR I met the spa department director.. They were both incredibly nice and personable. The first interview day lasted about 2 hours. At the end of the interview I was set up with a time to perform a massage skills interview for the next week. That interview went well also. I came in and met with a MIT and a senior massage therapist. I received another tour of the spa and gave an hour long massage. The therapist I massaged was incredibly nice and asked me if I had any questions and really put me at ease. After the massage I was interview by the MIT who was also very nice. After the interview she said she would send my application back for the next step. I was called the next day to setup a third interview. That interview happened one week after the first one. At the interview I me the HR director and was offered the job.

Waited a week or so and had an interview with corporate guy, went well enough, but I must have said the wrong thing and got a rejection email that night.
