I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GEICO (Miami, FL) in Nov 2014
Interview
I applied online and got a phone call the next day. The interview process basically consumed my whole day. I began answering some questions about previous employment, and then I was asked to take a test. I passed the test and then did another interview going into more detail about previous employment and experience. I was told my application would be passed on to the hiring manager, and I later got system-generated email letting me know I had not been chosen for the position.
Honestly, it was an incredible waste of time. A 20-minute test took more than an hour because people could not connect to the website. Then, the recruiter that interviewed me (Bianca) seemed to be bored as she read me word for word questions and scenarios over the phone. She didn't really contribute at all to the conversation, which made it incredibly awkward and left room for these long pauses. After reading so many reviews about the position and the company, I'm kind of glad I did not get an offer.
Salary Offered: Starting $37,000

Question 1
Explain a situation where you had to be firm. How good are you with time management?
Good experience with this company and interview process. They asked questions pertaining to past job experience and questions regarding the job itself. The recruiter was nice and friendly, as well.

Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GEICO (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2025
Interview
applied and was asked to do a assessment which was pretty straightforward. Then did a 20 min zoon interview with a recruiter. They explained a little about the job, salary, training and that I would be invited for a 2nd interview with the leadership team. A little strange interview also, they didn't really ask any questions about myself, just asked how many times I've shown up late for work in my past job and why I had a gap in my employment. A few days later I got a automated email that the job had been filled already. Seems just because you are told you made it to the 2nd and final round doesn't mean you will. They seem to hire first come first serve.

Interview
I did a zoom interview, which wasn’t the issue. The issue was I felt like there were no questions asked linked directly to the job I was applying for. I’m use to more behavioral based questions and they asked a lot of random filler questions, had me guessing why are they even interviewing me??
