I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GLG in Mar 2019
Interview
Submitted my application online, the company got back to me after a few hours with an invitation for a video assessment.
First stage : online video assessment with 3 questions. Fairly straight-forward.
Telephone interview with a HR employee - lasted about 30 minutes, talked about my understanding of the company and the position (everyone easily found on the job specification), some competency-based questions. Some tricky questions, at times I felt like the HR employee was not at all engaging and interested. Additionally, it felt like they hadn't even looked at my CV.
I applied online. I interviewed at GLG (London, England)
Interview
First online applications which included a quick video interview, a call with the recruiter then two rounds of face to face interview, each having 3 stages with 3 different people. The interview was very relaxed and most of the interviewers were very friendly and easy to talk to.
Even though I had great feedback on every stage, I apparently didn't receive an offer due to not having much team working experience in a professional setting outside of university, despite the fact I had many in my previous roles at university and internships. Highlight your team working experience within a work environment if you are applying for a graduate role, as it seems to be a crucial factor for the hiring managers
