I applied online. I interviewed at General Dynamics Electric Boat (Groton, CT) in Sept 2014
Interview
Submitted application and then a week later received an email. Interview was the Saturday after. Stayed at a hotel and then arrived at the office at 6:45. Submitted my passport and had fingerprints taken. Then waited for a shuttle at HR to go to new london. At new London they gave us a very tiny tour and split us into groups for the interview. I had two employees interview me at the same time which I thought was for the same position. After they took us back to Groton for a tour there and finally taken back to HR. They had us all complete exit interviews and then called each one of us down. I was offered on the spot two positions ffrom which I could choose. Took about two months before I received temporare clearance.

Interview
At a general hiring event, they paired me with different engineers hiring for their respective teams. The interviews were generally based on a review of my resume, and how I felt I would fit into their respective team. Your individual experience will vary based on the team you are placed to interview for, as well as whoever is interviewing you. One person asked me a bunch of brain teasers, another just generally asked about my opinions on certain tasks to gauge if I would enjoy working in their team.
I was called in for an interview with travel expenses paid for including a hotel to spend the night. During the interview I was asked basic technical questions and was also asked to bring my transcript which the hiring person went over.
Behavioral Questions. STAR format. 3 rounds. Hiring manager call. 2 calls with team members. Questions asked: Tell me about yourself. Describe a time you solved a problem. Tell me a time you worked on a team.
