The interview process was smooth and relaxing. I got an initial call from the lead recruiter from Actalent (Engineering Division of Aerotek). After the phone screening, the lead recruiter set up a small telephonic technical interview to make sure my knowledge and experience aline with the position and expectations of the client General Motors. After that, I had an official technical interview with the program manager and recruiting coordinator at Actalent on the embedded system side and also had a discussion on MATLAB/Simulink projects. 3rd rond of interview was taken by GM SIL integration engineer and technical lead, which was very detailed in the technical section of embedded coding and other Simulink related question answeres with control system design along with other tools. The final behavioral interview was with the engineering manager, he asked few behavioral interview questions and discussed the role, type of work, how GM's team work, and other high-level protocols.
