Phone call with HR recruiter to discuss my background and get an interview set up with the correct manager.
Video interview with a manager. I was set up with the wrong manager, the manager admitted that it was obviously the wrong position, but that there were other managers who were looking in my field. The company decided not to move forward with me.
Thank you for providing your experience feedback. All of our dev leads can interview a software engineer. We have serveral different departments and the interview helps us determine which department they would be best suited for so it would never be the wrong person interviewing you.

5 interviews- one initial with the corporate recruiter, a technical one with a team lead, a panel interview where they have you code a simple web program to get data into the db while they watch, an interview w the ceo, and then finally w the head of HR. Very lengthy, and there's a 30 q timed online quiz in there, but it shows they hire good people and that they care.
