I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Getir (Istanbul) in Feb 2023
Interview
5 Meetings, they are asking some outdated and non-valid product question types such as brain-teasers, so if you are not prepared for those types of questions, you should better read an interview prep book from the 2010s. Other questions include S.T.A.R questions and behavioral questions, so better prepare for them. Overall experience is good, but there is practically zero recruiter engagement. It seems like they are only there for scheduling meetings. After somewhere about 50 cumulative hours spent by both parties, HR refuses to give feedback about the rejection. So that is something to keep in mind. they also reject with generalized rejection letters, the mail I got from them regarding my rejection after the fifth round is no different than a rejection email someone gets before even beginning the interview process. It seems like either they don't read the meeting (or your CV beforehand) notes, or just don't want to but I believe I don't need to introduce myself five times at the beginning of each interview. One should be enough. (I was interviewing with Microsoft at the same time. So I might have some bias towards MSFT because of the professional approach they followed during every step.) My process was as follows: First with the Recruiter: don't expect much from this round, it's basically there to assess your English and learn a little bit from you. the second round was with Lead Product Manager: you get into the details of the job and have a chat about the listing the third round is with the Head of Product: same as the second round, but with greater detail and discussions. The fourth round is with the VP of Product: just casual chatting The fifth round is with potential teammates: I don't know why this round is at the end of the process, It should've been at the beginning or somewhere in the middle. nothing fancy here.
Interview questions [5]
Question 1
You got up in the morning and saw that some XYZ product orders are dropped by %20 percent, what would you do?
The process included a recruiter screening, a skills-based interview, and a final interview with the team lead. Each interviewer was well-prepared and asked insightful questions. I appreciated the timely communication and clear feedback at each step
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most important question I was asked was about how I handle fast-paced environments and quick decision-making, which is very relevant to Getir’s operational structure.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Getir in Mar 2024
Interview
Hanging...
Typical Recruiter - Team Manager - Hiring Manager interview pipeline. But after the hiring manager phase, they just dont answer anymore. This happened to me twice where I was left in a blank state by the recruiters.
Hr interview and meeting with team members. Friendly team members but unorganized company. Scope of work is not well defined. I didn’t get clear answers to my questions. Questions were standard and predictable.
