The interview process is quite impersonal, as everything goes through a software called greenhouse - you will be familiar with it if you went through other "unicorn" interview processes.
1) Application on greenhouse
2) After screening, invitation to do some online tests
- some test aptitudinal (mostly attention to detail, like spot the difference, and some logical and quantitative0
- some test technical (ie. excel) but really basic for the seniority of the position I was interviewing, more like fresh graduate level
3) You will be invited to choose an interview slot with HR
4) In my case after this, they completely ghosted me on the day of the zoom call, which I found unprofessional especially as they didn't approach me proactively to fix, I had to remind them.
5) After that you meet the country general manager
6) Finally you get a take home exercise (what they call a business case)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
My impression as a quite senior technical professional was that they didn't really know what to ask, as the organization members from my research, seemed mostly ex junior consultants with no specific industry experience.
So I would say it was mostly cognitive and situational (what would you do to fix this) interview, but of course be ready for the odd "unicorn style / google " kind of question that really seems to fascinate this start-up management demographic.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Glovo (Belgrade, Central Serbia) in Jun 2025
Interview
Enormously long process 3+ people to speak, 5+ days on very hard and realistic business case with their true problems, so they told me that my experience is not a good fit ( on the last step ). Without any apology on time they took me or anything. Very unprofessional.
