You get a call, they will schedule a screening interview with few of the "developers".
You will get a mail confirming the date and time, with instructions reading
"Please make sure that your video is on." - But none of the interviewers has the decency to switch on their video, out of the 3 people that were on the call. not a single one switched on the video. It's like talking to a wall. Jeez, what a joke.
They want your video on so they know you are not "googling" lol.
You get asked- What is javascript, please explain? kind of questions. The interviewer just googled "javascript interview questions" and asked away. Total waste of time, I wish I could get back the 40 minutes of my life back. No test of experience, skills, just a test of your memory. The engineers are of low-skill asking low bar questions. No test for software engineering ability. Just random questions from the internet to end the day patting themselves on the back. Good job guys.
