Interview
You are invited to a group interview first. They want to see how you interact with others. Then they ask you multiple questions in front of a panel of 3. This is done in the group interview. Afterwards if they choose to move forward they will call you and set up a one on one interview. I was hired on the spot at the one on one interview. They want people with semi flexible schedules.

The interview process was easy. You get an email after your application and go through HireVue (a virtual interview) talking to yourself answering questions, then in-store, where you talk to a store leader.

Few days later I was good to go and could give my hours of availability.

Interview
Two step interview. First a group interview and then a one on one with the store director. I was at first very scary. After you finish they will give you a call back to see if you have made it to the 2nd round. Then you meet with the store director and if she likes you then you have a job!

They asked you to sell this HEB product. It was easy since you were in a group but also odd since HEB is not in retail and a cashier doesn't need to sell anything on a regular basics.
