I have three interviews total with various managers. The basic interview questions were asked. Whatdo you do in your free time? Why do you want to work at HEB.. etc. It was very casual and was not scary what so ever. Other of my peers also interviewed though group interviews where the same type of questions were asked.Overall it was a plesent interviewing expirence.

The interview process was easy. You get an email after your application and go through HireVue (a virtual interview) talking to yourself answering questions, then in-store, where you talk to a store leader.

It was an easy process.. They had questions about my personalith and did a background checks..
Few days later I was good to go and could give my hours of availability.

Interview
Two step interview. First a group interview and then a one on one with the store director. I was at first very scary. After you finish they will give you a call back to see if you have made it to the 2nd round. Then you meet with the store director and if she likes you then you have a job!

They asked you to sell this HEB product. It was easy since you were in a group but also odd since HEB is not in retail and a cashier doesn't need to sell anything on a regular basics.
