I applied through university. I interviewed at Halliburton
Interview
Halliburton HR reps and engineers came to my college for a career fair, after talking to them at their booth for fifteen minutes or so I gave them my resume and received a call later that night that they wanted to interview me. The first interview consisted of typical interview questions and some technical questions pertaining to my work experience with my internship the previous summer. After about two weeks I received a call for a second interview invitation at their one field location. This was a two day process. The first day consisted of meeting everyone and taking a tour of the yard, followed by a dinner at a local restaurant. The second day, we woke up early to tour a coil tubing operation, from there we went to lunch and back to the field office for our exit interviews. The interview was very laid back. It was a 4 on 1 interview which was good because it kept a conversation going very easily. They basically just asked me why Halliburton and why field engineering. Two days later I received a call from their HR in Oklahoma for an offer in stimulation/frac and received all the documentation by email a few days later.
