I went through an extensive interview process that included six formal interviews, multiple additional calls with team members, and an in-person dinner (covered by the company) that required 2½ hours of driving each way—entirely at my own expense. Despite all this effort, expectations around timelines and decision-making were unclear from the start.
Midway through, a leadership change due to layoffs caused further delays and an additional final interview. While I understand organizational changes happen, communication afterward was minimal, despite my follow-ups and prior discussions about when I would hear back.
The most disappointing part? I was completely ghosted. I reached out to the recruiter multiple times, yet received no response, even though I was told I would hear back within 48 hours. A process that took over a month, full of travel, effort, and interviews, ended with zero closure. Save your time and energy for a company that actually values candidates—this one clearly does not.
