I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at HelloFresh in Nov 2020
Interview
After having a 30 minute screening call, I began the process of meeting with the different direct managers and one senior leader in the company. In total, I had 1 screening interview, 3 practical interviews, and a call in which I received an offer and asked questions. I was also asked to complete a case study, in which my results were discussed in one of the practical interviews. It took about 5 weeks from my initial application to receiving an offer.

Question 1
The questions were focused on my ability to navigate various stakeholder groups and dealing with ambiguity. It also focused on how to deal with different personalities and how to work across different functions and teams with competing priorities.

Interview
Overall positive experience with four rounds (including initial call with recruiter) of interviews. Included a "homework assignment" which allowed me to tangibly demonstrate my competencies. Entire process was very quick (a couple weeks) and feedback and next steps were always clearly communicated. Only minor drawback was desire from the company to receive a commitment to accept the offer before receiving the actual written offer which added some unnecessary pressure.

I applied online. I interviewed at HelloFresh (Berlin) in Nov 2020
Interview
Initially, I wasn't convinced that an interview process could be carried out over video calls as I had never gone through this process before.
However, the interviews with HelloFresh were conducted in a very well-structured and friendly way, so I had the chance to properly talk about my experiences.
The questions were structured based on the STAR methodology and, unlike other interviews that I have done with other companies, I didn't feel that the interviewers were just reading out questions and following a script because they asked pertinent follow-up questions, which gave me the nice feeling that I was having a two-way conversation and not just being interrogated.
The Talent Acquisition Manager was very friendly and supportive throughout the process. He gave me good advice before each interview, which helped me better prepare ahead of each stage.
