I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Hertz (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2014
Interview
I interviewed with the City Ops Manger and the general Manager, then came back for a second interview with the regional manager. The first interview lasted an hour and involved answering numerous questions about my management experience, and also my sales experience. The second interview was very conversational, and took about 1.5 hours. In all it was a good experience.

Question 1
How did you handle a difficult customer, and why were they difficult?
It was pretty simple. The first interview was a phone interview with a lower level HR person basically just to go over salary and stuff to make sure you're okay with what they're offering, then in-person interview with the area manager, then HR again. Then a drug test.

Give me an example of time that you've solved a very difficult situation. What was the issue? What did you do? What was the outcome? Would you have done anything differently?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hertz (Jacksonville, FL) in Aug 2021
Interview
Very long interview process. Multiple interviews. Very professional and done in a specific order. Followed definite interview playbook. Had to wait a long time for a manager to acknowledge I was there.
