In person interview with site lead. This was a basic interview, just general expected question, without any silly technical quiz / challenge. Mostly the atmosphere was one of gauging attitude and desire to learn, adapt, work, fit-in.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at HighWire (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in Aug 2016
Interview
Asked technical questions and questions designed to assess my personality. Standard Dev questions.
Decided not to take the post as heard very negative things from Belfast staff through a colleague who knew staff there. Heard things such as false promises made to entice staff in relating to benefits, training and development, job responsibilities. Also was told morale was low which seemed to be the case when I visited. Got bad vibe from the place. Have read online that HighWire is a sinking ship, both here and on social media. Was unconvinced it was a good place to work.
