Interview
I submitted my resume on a Monday and was called Tuesday for an interview which was scheduled for the following day Wednesday. I arrived early and was properly attired and ready for the interview -. The receptionist was quick to greet and call the interviewer- the managing purchasing agent who has been with the company for 7 years. I was asked about my previous experience relevant to the position and we discussed the position. I was thanked and told that I was the first person to be interviewed and that they were still in the process of trying to contact and set up the other interviewees. I was given a business card and told to call if I hadn't heard from them by the next week. It has been 3 weeks. I have called and once spoken to the purchasing manager who said they had unexpected visit from CEO of company and meetings and had not been able to do all interviews as a a result, but expected to complete process by end of the week and make a decision. I waited until midweek and tried to call both the human resources person and the purchasing manager and was connected to their lines but it went to message each time I called. I left a message and have not received a call back. I called Wednesday left a message, Thursday several times and Friday several times and left a message. I am hoping to hear back from them this week!!

Interview
This is a privately owned company, therefore, they predominantly hire through employee referrals or friends of the family. The interview process is very informal. You will speak directly with the owner, who is also the lead senior project manager. If you like working for a small business than this job is for you.
