I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ID5.io in Jul 2025
Interview
It took around three weeks, with interviews with HR, the hiring manager, the COO, the sales director, and a technical assessment presented to the hiring manager and two engineers.
Overall, they want to get to know you better, your experience, and what you bring to the table.
It’s important to understand what the company does and their value proposition.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- Experience and trajectory
- Behavioral questions (success stories, mistakes, learnings)
- Logic questions (Added value of ID5, key metrics to watch)
- Tech assessment/challenges (analyze the cross-device graph, fix prebid identity module errors, use developer tools console, cookie sync)
took 3 weeks - recruiter call, hiring manager round, and skip manager round. There was a take home assignment in which you had to do data analysis and identifying the ID5 Id from chrome dev along with troubleshooting and recommend solutions along with identifying an issue on a test page. What wasn't communicated was the hiring manager and engineering manager expected for the problem to be fixed with code changes and manually fixing the issue on the web page without additional knowledge. This is a support role, not a software engineer role.

Interview
Had a brief call with the recruiter with the usual background and high level job details discussed. He told
Me he would follow up with next steps early the following week, plan on the next call to be end of the following week.
He never did. I followed up with him twice and even reached out to the SVP making this hire to inquire if the role was still open and if so, could he meet next to discuss…no response.
Totally ghosted me and won’t even respond to my follow ups.
