The phone interview was brief. The hiring manager asked about my interest in the job and past experiences and then scheduled an in person interview. The in person interview was a uncomfortable. I met with the hiring manager, which was fine. The PACS Administrator was included in the interview and spent most the time looking at the ground even when he talked. They they left the room and sent in technicians to meet with me. One of which spent the entire time looking at the ground. The other kept asking questions not even related to the job i'd be doing. When speaking to the hiring manager he stressed over and over the job would be entry level and 90% data entry in the patient portal. Working at a PACS/DR vendor I've spent a lot of time entering data in the patient portal. I'm gay individual applying for a job in the gay neighborhood for a position ran by a bunch of straight guys that spent the entire time looking at the floor. Extremely uncomfortable. I feel I didn't get this job not because i'm more than qualified for an entry level position entering data.
