Brief phone interview was followed by an in person interview. I followed up multiple times after the interview to simply get a sense of whether I was still a candidate for the position. I emailed the HR lead that had reached out to me and requested the interview. He never responded to a simple email query. I tried calling him and was texted back to ask who I was, then referred to the government shutdown as reason for lack of info or activity. I waited weeks and after shutdown was over, I called him again to follow up. He asked to take my name and said he would look into the position and get back in touch. He never did. For a company as seemingly professional and "on the ball," with technological offerings, capabilities, and a growing list of government contracts, their HR handling of hiring and communicating to people they physically requested interviews with was about a 2/10.
