The interview was an informal chat with one of the managers, who did not seem to be interested in talking to me from the start, despite me having all the skills they were looking for - Accounts payable experience plus the language skills, and she later admitted that I was the only one who applied with the required language skills. Going back to the interview, at the start I found out that the manager had not viewed my CV, she just asked me to tell her about myself in brief. Later, she was telling me that the system they use is very outdated and she also mentioned that she had never heard of the company prior to joining. Overall, it seemed like she was trying to discourage me from progressing, and she did not seem to be interested in her role neither. At the end of the interview she admitted that I was the only person who applied, that had all the required skills, but she then said that she has to discuss it with her manager. From the way she was speaking and the tone of her voice, I understood that she was not interested from the start. In needed, two days later they re-advertised the same position but changed the requirements of the job, and informed me that they do not want to proceed with my application. The reason for that is that the manager who interviewed me, has told the recruiter that she did not want me, because i have the ambition to take on higher positions within accounting and finance. She wanted a person who would stay in the same position for a longer term. The position is actually an entry level one! Therefore stay away from such a company and dont waste your time
